Become an Ambassador and Help us to build the first county art gallery and centre for all the arts in Essex.
We intend to bring a fresh approach to the experience and understanding of Essex art and culture.
- Be at the forefront of a popular campaign to persuade government, industry, the local authorities, and the arts funding bodies that an arts and cultural centre would be good for Essex.
- Help us broaden the appreciation and awareness of Essex art through regular exhibitions characterised by quality and diversity.
- Be part of a new approach to bringing contemporary arts and culture to the people of Essex.
- Help us in the knowledge that we will leave no stone unturned in our quest to involve children and families in our educational programmes, workshops, and performances and in the exploration of the built environment.
- Through our Education Team you will share the discoveries made at the gallery with students, teachers, and members of the public of all ages through on-site workshops, in-service training, and programmes linked to specific exhibitions.
Help us to do much more – your money will not only support the continuance of our work to bring this vision for Essex to reality, but it will enable even more funds to be raised as the momentum starts to built.

Essex Art Lottery - We want everyone to ‘get involved’ and to help our cause we are offering all Ambassadors the opportunity to win an original work of art, with draws every year starting with a
Summer Draw for this original acrylic, by Colin Philpott a very talented Essex Artist. We are a ‘ not for profit' organisation seeking to achieve an iconic building for Essex people, suitable for all forms of contemporary art. The iconic building will itself be an attraction for all people and all cultures.
