Heritage the Basildon Heritage Trail
was created and opened in April 2009.
The
12 Km Heritage Trail celebrates our urban heritage and
the rich diversity of wildlife in the open spaces
around 'Our Town'. Click

Centre for a chat about Basildon, your Town, where you
can record your memories and your knowledge of the
Town and its people. We are seeking helpers to
increase the opening times...let us know if you are
able to assist.

Basildon
Swimming Pool.
We are continuing our campaign to obtain the use
of this iconic building for all of the arts from painting to dance.
This magnificent post-modernist building is set
in the open landscaped grounds of Gloucester Park, it was designed by
local architect, Ken Cotton and has become a well used and
iconic landmark for Basildon.

District Art Trail 2010
Artists in Basildon, Billericay, Wickford and the District are
invited to submit their work and to propose suitable locations for
our art to be exhibited. This can be shops, restaurants etc as
well as Galleries and studios. 'Billericay Arts Association', at
The Fold, is taking part.

Morris Dixon a very talented Essex Artist (Size 74 x

We are a ‘ not for profit' organisation seeking to achieve an iconic building for Essex people, suitable for all forms of contemporary art. The iconic building will itself be an attraction for all people and all cultures.
